Do You Suffer From Chronic Pain?
Chronic pain is something that so many people deal with on a daily basis. Sometimes there are good and bad days but any day in pain is a day we’d like to change.
There is nothing worse than feeling like you’re aging before your time. Your alarm sounds rudely waking you from your slumber, signally the first challenge of the day…. getting out of bed. You begin to stretch and slowly move. Your back aches, your knees creak, your shoulders are stiff, your neck is sore and don’t get me started on how long it takes to get to the bathroom. As if that wasn’t bad enough you’ve STILL got the rest of the day to get through!

Pain can sometimes get a bad rap. At its core it is something that is used to protect us e.g. after an injury, usually lasting for a short time. However, it has its detrimental side when it turns into long lasting (chronic) pain. It can hang around longer than you would expect. This can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying disease or sometimes can just come out of “nowhere”.
Pain Changes Everything
Your pain is now the focus of your daily life. You are limited by what you can or cannot do and worst of all it is stopping you enjoying your hobbies. The longer the pain persists, the more you are increasing your risk of it becoming a chronic issue as your body becomes more sensitive to the pain.
Don’t worry help is on the way!
